Subhanallah, how accurate can this hadith be? I always said that before.. if only this, if only that.. not knowing that it opens the gates of satanic thoughts! Astaghfirullah.. Forgive me Ya Allah..
Do you realize that saying these kind of 'if' words made us feel regret on the things that we've done? No, not the sin that we do for sins are surely the things that we must feel regret about. And if you feel regret about the sin, repent for it for Allah is indeed the Most Merciful. But what I mean here is, its like when things that we hope for did not turn out as it should be, we started to say these kind of words. For example, ' If only it was me who drove the car, the accident would not have happened!'
Whether we realize it or not, when we say these words, we are actually questioning our 6th pillar of iman, that is to believe in qada' and qadar. And that is obviously shaking our aqidah in this religion- na'uzhubillah! Some people have already told me that saying 'kalau' is not good, and now I totally understand why, together with the solid reason given by our beloved prophet.
Now as we understand this, life is much easier isnt it? No regret, just keep going on and try to persevere in what we do. If Allah has said ' kun fayakun', then it surely is going to be like that. So whats with the regret?
IZ: Hari ni nak pergi cari kerja, tapi tak tahulah ada ke tak orang yang nak ambil pekerja yang boleh kerja tak sampai dua bulan pastu 16 jun dan 3 hari selepas tu nak cuti. Hmmp.

In summary, life is simple. U're right. If we keep using IF if IF we're actually makes life difficult.
But sometimes, we can use IF as a precaution for not to repeat the same mistakes. Am i rite?
p/s:dont say u want to work for a week. try first. sometimes u r not happy, then u can quit less than a week, like me be4. sometimes u will so like it, like u dowan to quit, and u can stand more than a month, like me be4 :p

Kak yuliana: True that. Like if we feel regret for not trying hard in the previous exams, we will then realize our mistakes and try to work harder in the other exams.
But ppl who use 'if' to question certain situations like what I mentioned regarding the accident example before, is actually something that we should not do, as Allah has planned for it to be like that. And surely, there is no way we can change the outcome of the situation.
p/s: Oh boleh ye camtu. Nanti kite try cari lagi. 1st day of job hunting semalam was a complete failure lah. huhu
